SCHOOL UNIFORM

 For LKG

The school uniform for boys consists of red and black checked shorts and cream coloured shirts embossed with the school logo. The school uniform for girls consists of red and black checked box-pleated skirts and cream coloured shirts embossed with the school logo. The girls should wear maroon coloured bloomers along with the uniform. Boys and girls must wear black leather shoes and red socks with stripes and LFHS embossed in between the stripes. The neck tie is blue with red stripes and the belt is blue and red coloured. Girls should tie up their hair with black ribbons. On Wednesdays and Saturdays the students must wear the Sports Uniform – Red coloured T-shirts and navy-blue track pants with white canvas shoes, white socks and white ribbons for girls.

 For U.K.G.

The school uniform for girls consists of red and green checked box-pleated skirts and cream coloured shirts embossed with the school logo. The girls should wear maroon coloured bloomers along with the uniform.  Boys and girls must wear black leather shoes, red socks with stripes and LFHS embossed in between the stripes.  For Classes I to X

 The school uniform consists of khaki trousers / khaki short pants (Classes I to V) and white shirts (boys), khaki pinafores and white shirts (girls), with black leather shoes, navy-blue full-length socks with two yellow stripes and LFHS embossed in between the stripes, the school belt, neck tie and house flaps. Girls should tie up their hair with black ribbons and wear black coloured bloomers with the uniform. (Mafatlal Fabric Code Khaki: 514 Fabric Code White: 7019).

 On Wednesdays the students (boys and girls) will wear the Sports Uniform which consists of Coloured (house colours) T-shirts, track pants with three stripes at the sides. White canvas shoes and white socks with house coloured stripes, to be worn with the sports uniform. Girls should tie up their hair with white ribbons.

 On Saturdays students will wear white trousers / short pants (Classes I to V) and white shirts (boys) white pinafores and white shirts (girls) with white canvas shoes and white socks which have stripes of the house colours, school belt, neck-tie and house flaps. Girls should tie up their hair with white ribbons and wear white coloured bloomers under the uniform.

 

School House System

 In order to create team spirit, co-operative attitude and friendly competitive tendencies, the students are divided into four houses, namely, Cosmonauts (Yellow), Aeronauts (Blue), Argonauts (Red) and Astronauts (Green). All the school activities, academics, sports and games, co-curricular and extracurricular activities are conducted on an inter house basis.

 Note:

 1. The shades and pattern of the uniform must be as prescribed by the school which is displayed in the school premises. It is compulsory for boys from Classes VI to X to follow the school pattern for their trousers i.e. two pleats on either side just below the waist (belt). Only white canvas shoes are permitted and not tennis/sports shoes. Students are allowed to wear only navy blue and white socks.

 2. Ankle length socks are not allowed.

 3. Students are required to wear the school uniform on all working days.

 4. A student who comes to school without the right uniform should produce a note of excuse, duly signed by the parents. This will be allowed only two or three times a year. A fine will be levied thereafter.

 5. During winter months, students will be permitted to wear only the school sweaters. (Navy blue with yellow stripes)

 6. On their birthdays students need to dress in their school uniforms only, in the High School Section (Classes V to X).

 7. Students should cut their nails regularly, wear clean uniforms, ribbons and socks and well-polished shoes. Liquid white polish to be used for white shoes.

 8. Students are not allowed to apply mehendi or colours on the hands or tattoos on the body. Strict action will be taken if the student does not comply with this rule.

 9. Students should refrain from using any symbols in dress or person which may be discriminatory in nature and distract the learners.

 10. Students should use only a small stud as an earring and no other jewellery.

11. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school or even keep it in the school office. Parents are requested to make proper transport arrangements for their wards so that they do not require the use of a phone to book rides for their transport back home.

 12. All the above rules need to be abided by and a fine will be levied on habitual offenders.
