The English Literary Club aims at creating a love for the English language and a passion to acquire higher order skills such as creative communication through prose, poetry and drama. Various activities are planned to achieve the aims:
Students read books and give a book review each verbally.
Students enact skits written by them
Students recite poems written by famous writers
Students play word games
Students have a Dumb charade / Quiz on idioms and proverbs
Guess the Idiom – A power point presentation is made by students
Students solve cross word puzzles on English usage vocabulary
Students learn monologues from Shakespearean characters
Poetry Writing is encouraged
Pupils participate in Debate and Elocution Competition
