Principal (2013 - 2019)

Rev. Bro. Dr. A. Anthony Reddy took charge in 2013 and under his leadership the school received the School Brilliance Award for Vision and Leadership. It is instituted by the Indian Business Conference Institute, Bangalore for schools in South India.

2013 - 2014

Diamond Jubilee Year Celebrated

Diamond Fest was held on 11th January, 2014 with Mr. J. Raymond Peter IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Social welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as the Chief Guest. 'The Legacy of Little Flower' showcased the evolution of the institution and highlighted the talents of the Little Flowers.

Visit of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

As part of our Diamond Jubilee celebrations, we had the honour to welcome His Excellency, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, the former President of India on the 28th of March 2014. His Excellency spent quality time with our students asking and answering their questions. The entire premises were filled with an air of excitement.

The School won the School Brilliance award for Vision and Leadership instituted by the Indian Business Conference Institute, Bengaluru for Schools in South India.

During the Dussehra vacation, Little Flowers went on an International Tour to Singapore and Malaysia. The mesmerizing tourist spots captivated the students and they returned with glorious experiences.

We notched up the Literary, Cultural and Overall Trophies with an overall tally of 1010 points in the National Mont Utsav held at St. Paul's High School, Hyderguda. 14 students bagged Gold medals, 8 Silver, 9 Bronze and 8 were placed 4th in Literary Events.

13 students bagged gold medals, 9 Silver, 5 Bronze and 7 were placed 4th in the Cultural Events.

Master Sai Prajwal Class VI bagged the Second place at the State Level and secured the Fourth place in Rifle Shooting at the National Level.

60 Glorious years of Little Flower High School culminated by honouring our former Principals.

2014 - 2015

Another feather in our cap is the winning of the 9th INDY's Education Awards for Excellence in School and College Education instituted by Stars of Industry Awards.

We are also the proud recipients of the Best School Award for the conservation of nature instituted by the Hussain Sagar Lake (HSL) Club. It was given away on the occasion of World Water Day held on the 22nd of March 2015.

Master Saroj Siril, Class X won the Second and Third places in five State Ranking Tournaments. He also stood First in AWA Tournament and bagged a silver medal at the National Level.

Master P. Aditya Krishna, Class VIII was selected to represent India in Cricket in the Under-14 category organized by the National School Games Federation.

Master T. Shivank Singh was awarded a gold medal at the State Level for 'Best Cadet' in Junior Division NCC and he also received a gold medal for 'Best Briefer in Flag Area'. He participated in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi and won III Best Cadet Award at the National level.

Master A.K. Parthasaradhi Class X, our budding Tennis star was a semi-finalist in the 'Adidas Nationals AITA Tournament' and is ranked 7th at the National Level (under 16).

Master Syed Murtuza Hashmi is the only student selected from Hyderabad in the International Earth Science Olympiad.

In the National Talent Search Examination, Master V. Sudhanyu Class IX bagged a scholarship for his exemplary performance at the State Level and National Level.

Master Rishab Pallod, Class X won the First Prize at the National Level for his project on Recycling organised by Project Search – TERI.

2015 - 2016

SAKURA Program - Japan

SAKURA a totally Japanese Government sponsored programme enabled 24 of our students, along with a faculty and Principal to visit the Japanese Universities and Science Research Organisations for an exchange programme.

Australian National Chemistry Quiz – Master Bharath Chandra, Class X and Master Syed Abdul Mannan, Class VII D secured high distinction.

An innovative venture 'Connecting Class Rooms' the school has worked for the International School Award, conducted by the British Council.

Miss Lakshmi Sreya, Class IX was declared the Second Best Cadet in the Inter Group Competition from Telangana & Andhrapradesh, NCC Directorate.

In the National 'MOLICUL FEST' Little Flower High School, Abids, were the 1st Runners up both in the Literary and Cultural Category.

The team comprising Master Mohd. Hashmi, Class IX and Master Hussain Ahmed, Class VII won the Quiz Competition organised by Thomas Cook India Travel Quest – 2016. They won a trip to Malaysia.

LCD Projectors were installed in all the class rooms from V – X.

CCTV Cameras were installed in classes LKG to IV.

A delegation of French students from Montfort School, France visited our school for a pleasant interaction.

Master Mohd Hashmi, Class X, Master Sai Prajwal, Class X and Master Hussain Ahmed, Class VIII won the quiz conducted by NALSAR University of Law at the National Level. They were declared the Best School Team.

An International Educational Tour to Singapore and Malaysia was organized for the students during the Dussehra vacation. Around 30 students accompanied by Rev. Bro. T.V. Joseph, our Vice-Principal enjoyed the delightful spots and historical sites.

2016 - 2017

Space Settlement Design Competition

12 Students were the winners of the Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition held in January, 2017. They participated in the International Level at Kennedy Space Centre, U.S.A. in July, 2017.

International School Award (ISA)

The School bagged the International School Award (ISA) for three years (2016-2019). A year long programme under the aegis of the British Council culminated in the coveted ISA Award.

Master Syed Mohd. Hashmi, Class X and Master Hussain Ahmed, Class VIII won the Conquiztador Quiz at the National Level held at Bangalore. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 40,000/-. They were also placed First in the Shaastra Spark Quiz conducted by IIT Madras.

The Robotics Laboratory was inaugurated and the STEM Robotics Programme was initiated in collaboration with the Japanese.

Miss J. Likhitha, Class VI won the Third prize (Vanyajeeva Ratna Award) at the National Level in the Essay Writing Competition.

In the XXIII National Montfort Games and Sports our school bagged 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals.

In the National Convention on Alternate Sources organized by A.P Geographical Society, our students presented models with creativity and emerged as Young Innovators. Master Arnav Jaiswal and K. Nehal Kumar secured the First Place.

19 Students accompanied by Rev. Bro. Anil Reddy went on an educational tour to Thailand and Hong Kong. They visited the Assumption University under the aegis of the Montfort Brothers.

In the XXXII National Montfort Games and Sports held at St. Alphonsus' High School, Nalgonda, our school bagged the Overall Second Place. Nine students bagged gold medals, 15 silver and 11 bronze.

Master Dev Agarwal Class VII, Rama Sri Ram Class VII and Taneesha Jaiswal Class IV bagged the First place in Maths Olympiad conducted by Montfort International Olympiad.

In a survey conducted by Times Group partnered with i3 Research Consultants to determine Hyderabad's Top National Curriculum Schools, Little Flower High School was ranked Second in Hyderabad.

2017 - 2018

The Indian Center for Wildlife and Environmental Studies honoured Rev. Bro. Dr. A. Anthony Reddy with 'ICWESSAR Principal of the Year Award' and Ms. Deepthi Jaiswal with 'Teacher of the Year Award'.

Rev. Bro. K. Anil Reddy received the 'Nation Builder Award' instituted by Rotary India Literacy Mission and Inner Wheel Club of Hyderabad on the occasion of Teacher's Day.

In the XXI Montfort Literary and Cultural festival-Mont Euphoria 2017, held at St. Mathew's Public School, Vijayawada, our school bagged the Overall Trophy and the Literary Trophy.

Master Hussain Ahmed, Class IX and Master Syed Mannan, Class IX won the Aqua Regia Quiz at the National Level held at Bangalore. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs. Forty Thousand.

Our team of 12 students qualified in the preliminary round of the Indian National Space Settlement Design Competition held at Delhi and were declared Runners Up at the Asian Regional Competition.

In the Robocup Juniors – On stage category, the team comprising Master Arnav Jaiswal, Master M. Chakravarthy and Master Shreyas Bisara Class VII secured the First Place and Overall Best Performance Award. They are selected for the International Competition in Montreal, Canada.

Little Flower High School received an Award for Exemplary Service in the Field of Education among Christian Minority Institution instituted by the Government of Telangana from Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar Rao, the Honourable Chief Minister.

It gives us immense satisfaction and pride to record that our budding astronauts were declared Runners Up at the International Space Settlement Design Competition held at Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, U.S.A.

A delegation of 26 students accompanied by 6 staff members from St. Gabriels, France visited our school on the 17th of October for an exchange programme.

Value education is given due importance. Guidance and counselling, a leadership programme called the Montfortian Youth Leadership in Society (MYLS) was introduced which aims at orienting students for leadership in the society through peace and brotherhood. The school marches ahead upholding the ideals set by the founders.
